H-1B visa, or in layman’s language, a visa that enables employers in the US to temporarily hire workers from foreign countries in specialty occupations. Reports of the H-1B visa statistics have been released by the US Department of Labour for the first quarter of 2019.

In this report are the statistics and figures of the applications that have been processed. It also includes top occupations, top states and many more. Here is a complete list of top ten companies that will foreign labor certification for H-1B visas for the Q1 FY-2019.

Deloitte Consulting, LLP

Deloitte Consulting is at the top of the list with 18,306 H-1B specialist occupation labor certifications. Of the total foreign labor certifications for the H-1B visa in the first quarter of 2019, Deloitte Consulting’s number accounts for 10.4%.

Apple

Apple, the popular smartphone company has scored the position of the runner-up. The numbers of the company have gone up to as much as 16,426 for the fiscal year 2019, ending on December 31. This number accounts for 9.4% of the total number.

KForce

KForce stands in the third position with 10,292 certifications, which adds up to 5.9% of the total certifications.

Amazon.com services

Amazon.com Services, which stands at the fourth position, scored a total of 5485 certifications, adding up to 3.1% of the total number of H1-B visa certifications.

HCL America

On the fifth position is HCL America, and it has received a total of 5,085 certifications, which makes about 2.9% of the total number of certifications.

Cognizant Technology Solutions, US Corp

Cognizant Technology Solutions, US Corp has received a total of 4,725 certifications for the H-1B visas for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2019 and accounted for 2.7% of the total number of certifications.

Facebook

Facebook scored about 4,133 H-1B visas for the fiscal quarter that will end this December 31. This makes for 2.4% of the total certifications.

Qualcomm Technologies

Qualcomm Technologies has received a total of 3,271 H-1B visa certifications, constituting to 1.9% of the total number.

Intel Corporation

Intel Corporation, standing at the ninth position, has received 2,913 certifications, which constitutes for 1.7% of the total number of certifications.

Oracle America

Oracle America has received a total of 2,279 certifications and stands at the 10th position in the top ten list.
