Pricing

The most important factor in the Indian smartphone market, pricing play a major role. Till now Samsung has repeatedly failed to pitch smartphones against its competition. Realme, Asus, Honor and Xiaomi has some great smartphones available with better features and lesser prices. Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will change that for Samsung in the price category.

New Generation Infinity-V Displays

While Samsung has been ignoring the notch trend since 2017, but finally had to surrender to the growing trend. Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with Infinity-V displays, which are essentially the dewdrop notched displays. Galaxy M10 has a 6.2-inch HD+ in an 19.5:9 aspect ratio, while Galaxy M20 has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display in an 19.9:5 aspect ratio.

Dual Cameras

Both Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with rear dual systems. The cameras can capture a lot of details. Color reproduction and color accuracy are above average. Both Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 feature a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture coupled with a 5MP secondary ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

Improved UI

Both Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Experience UI 9.5 on top. The new Experience UI come with improved features like one handed usability, navigation gestures, adoptable storage, design elements, smart orientation, new battery optimisation features and more.

Bigger Batteries

A feature been missed by several Samsung users. Samsung phones sucked when it came to batteries. But with Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, Samsung plans to change it. The budget Samsung M10 houses a comparatively large 3,400mAh battery and the Galaxy M20 sports a massive 5,000mAh battery.

Widevine L1 Certification

You may have earlier heard about this when the new of Poco F1 not supporting Netflix in HD went viral. Widevine DRM is basically a digital rights management component of Android MediaDRM. Instead of the budget pricing, both Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 come with Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on popular platforms like Amazon Prime or Netflix.

Fast Charging

With the massive 5,000mAh battery, Samsung Galaxy M20 promises two days of battery life. At par with Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max Pro M1, the new Samsung Galaxy M2 also packs in a huge 5,000mAh battery. Also, the smartphone supports up to 15W fast charging.
