Redmi Note 7, the highly anticipated, and awaited successor to the Redmi Note 6 series has launched at a price tag of Yuan 999, which is around Rs 10,000, in China.

Redmi Note 7: 48 MP Camera Is The USP

At Rs 10,000 (approximately), you are getting a 48 Mega Pixel camera, and this is not a small feat. The teaser for this new smartphone was launched since last few days, and it was rumored that it can be Redmi 7 or even Redmi Pro 2.

But now, as the launch has finally happened, all apprehensions has been cleared.

The main USP remains 49 Mega Pixels rear camera, with Sony IMX586 sensor. Its superior Quad-bayer filter has the power to generate large 1.6 ?m pixels and real-time HDR. The secondary rear camera is 5 MP, which is powered with AI, and can be used mainly for portrait mode.

The selfie or front camera is fitted in the notch, with 15 MP camera.

Redmi Note 7: Features

Powered with Snapdragon 660 chipset, this new flagship from Redmi (Redmi is now a separate brand under Xiaomi, and this will be the first flagship under Redmi’s new brand) will have a fast processing power of 2.2 Ghz.

Full HD+ resolution and screen-to-body ratio of 84% makes it a stunning offering, at a price tag of Rs 10,000.

Its 4,000 mAh battery will seamlessly support Qualcomm Quick Charge mechanism, thereby offering better power options.

As per Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi, full battery charge will take exactly 1 hour, 43 minutes.

Not bad at all.

Redmi Note 7: Price

The base variant of Redmi Note 7 will cost Yuan 999, which is Rs 10,000. This will be 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

4GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost Yuan 1199, which is approximately Rs 12,500.

6GB RAM and 64GB storage will be the highest variant, whose cost is Yuan 1399, or Rs 14,000 approximately.

Going by the specs, features, and the price, Redmi Note 7 is the new mid-range king of smartphone.

There has been no announcement regarding India launch.
