Tencent is working on another PUBG game mode known as ‘Monster Hunting’, expected to arrive with an update this upcoming Chinese New Year. Monster Hunting mode will include some of the Chinese New Year-themed locations to hunt down mythical monsters for loot.

As per the reports, the new PUBG mode will only be available via Chinese servers only.

Moving from China, we have some exciting news coming from Las Vegas. The much-touted annual Consumer Electronics Show showcased some top products and services. Companies from around the globe unveiled their upcoming innovative technologies.

PUBG Monster Hunting Mode: What’s New?

Tencent will soon launch a new mode with the PUBG Mobile 0.13.0 update. It’s already available  in beta version, and you can test it out on the Chinese servers. Dubbed as Monster Hunting mode, the PUBG update will bring in Chinese New Year-themed locations with monster hunts.

Players need to carry out monster hunts for loot. These will be Chinese mythical creature-looking monsters. You need to first activate the statues placed around the map to play in the Monster Hunting Mode.

The new update is reported to be only available on the Chinese servers, but with the growing popularity worldwide, the company may end up releasing it for everyone.

For now, you can shoot down zombies instead of monsters in India. The upcoming rumoured ‘zombie mode’ will be available via the next PUBG Mobile update. The Zombie PUBG mobile update may go live some time between January 18 to 20 with new weapons, vehicles and some other added features.
