OnePlus 6T vs Huawei Nova 4: In-Depth Comparison
The Huawei Nova 4 has been launched in four color variants: Honey Red, Black, White and Blue color options. In India, the smartphone will be available by early 2019.
Design & Build
Huawei Nova 4 and OnePlus 6T both feature a glass sandwich design. The Huawei Nova 4 comes in different unique color combinations. Both the smartphones offer almost similar built quality.
Nova 4 has a 3D hyperboloid glass body with gradient color finishes.
Display
Huawei Nova 4 sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ offering a screen resolution of 2310 x 1080 pixels with curved glass on top. Do mind that Nova 4 has no notch. On the other hand, OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display in a 19.5:9 screen aspect ratio featuring a water drop notch at the top for the display.
With Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top, both offer awesome looking displays, but the Nova 4 design is something you call refreshing.
Hardware
Huawei Nova 4 has an octa-core Huawei Kirin 970 chipset built on a 10nm process paired with 8GB RAM, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, NPU, GPU Turbo, and an i7 co-processor. OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, has the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with upto 8GB of RAM (McLaren Edition has 10GB RAM).
Huawei Nova 4 and OnePlus 6T both offer standard day to day performance capable of offering top-notch gaming performance.
Storage
OnePlus 6T is now available in four storage variants in India: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage and the top-end McLaren Edition with 10GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
Huawei Nova 4 is only available in a single storage version of 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Software
Huawei Nova 4 runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box with EMUI 9.0.1 UI. OnePlus 6T runs on the latest Oxygen OS based on Android Pie. The Oxygen OS is comparatively better with less bloatware and close stock Android experience.
Camera
The Huawei Nova 4 features a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel / 20-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, secondary 16-megapixel sensor with  117-degree super wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 2-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture to add depth effects to pictures.
OnePlus 6T sports a dual camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 20-megapixel secondary sensor.

The Huawei Nova 4 is available in a single 128GB variant, but two versions with two different cameras. The Huawei Nova 4 has been launched at 3399 yuan (around Rs 35,250) for the 48-megapixel camera version. The 20-megapixel rear camera model has been priced at 3099 yuan (around Rs 32,150).

OnePlus 6T offers some premium features backed by excellent performance. But, Huawei Nova 4 is different. The new smartphone brings an all-new technology to the table backed by some top features, hardware and performance. The smartphone also features the world first ultra-compact lens offering a true pixel size of 0.8um.
The 48-megapixel version of Nova 4 uses the Sony IMX 586 sensor offering the industry’s highest 48 effective megapixels.
OnePlus 6T is a great device at its price, but Nova 4 will definitely steal some light here. Huawei with the new design technology offers an entry-premium device with the latest innovative tech and top of the line features.
OnePlus 6T is not any worse, but Huawei Nova 4 with the latest technology is something you can’t ignore. If priced tactfully, Huawei Nova 4 soon will be a threat to some of the bestselling entry-premium flagships.
