As per the recent iPhone XR review by DxOMark, iPhone XR is the best Single-lens camera smartphone in the world. The record was previously held by Google Pixel 2.

iPhone XR in India starts at Rs 76,900 for the base variant.

Do note that the current Google flagship Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL also uses a single rear camera, but DxOMark hasn’t reviewed the Pixel 3 phones yet. Soon after the reviews, Pixel 3 is expected to take the crown from iPhone XR.

In an era of multi-lens smartphones, it’s really hard to find a good camera smartphone with a single rear camera. While companies are finding ways to add more sensors, there are manufacturers who have done a great job with single lenses.

The iPhone XR rear camera offers excellent texture and sharpness. The photos shot in extremely tough lighting conditions came out really well. iPhone XR scored an overall 103 in photos with 90 in Exposure and Contrast, 82 in Colour and 99 Autofocus.

    In Photography iPhones are always superior (i am an Android user). Seen few shots taken by iPhone’s man the photos are very nice.
