State-run telecom carrier BSNL is playing their cards very well.

Airtel and Vodafone-Idea have unceremoniously increased their minimum validity plans and threatening to block outgoing and incoming calls if a minimum recharge is not done. To counter this, BSNL has extended their Rs 1699 annual plan till January 31, 2019, and have added more data as well.

Besides, BSNL has also launched an excellent plan for short-term usage: Now get 2 GB/day for 10 days, by paying just Rs 78.

BSNL’s 2GB/Day Plan For Rs 78

Directly challenging Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea’s weekly plans, BSNL has now launched an even better pack: Pay Rs 78, and get 20 GB of data.

For 10 days, BSNL users can get 2 GB/day data, along with unlimited calls to all 20 circles where BSNL operates. Yes, that also includes Delhi and Mumbai, which was often omitted from such packs.

By sending an SMS to 123 as ‘STV COMBO78.’, BSNL users can also get unlimited video calling on this plan.

After the daily quota of 2 GB is over, users can access the Internet at 80 Kbps speed.

By far, this is one of the cheapest per day GB plan by any telecom operator in India, right now.

Rs 1699 Plan With 1 Year Validity For BSNL Users

Yesterday, we had reported that both Airtel and Vodafone-Idea is compelling, forcing users to recharge every month. This has been targeted for those users, who keep a SIM only for incoming calls, and don’t recharge as they don’t need calls or data.

For Airtel, Rs 35 is the minimum recharge which ‘has’ to be done in order to keep the SIM alive.

Sensing this market gap, BSNL has decided to extend their hugely popular Bumper Plan, which has one-year validity for Rs 1699.

Above the base plan, BSNL will offer 2.1 GB per day extra, which means, that a user can now get a total of 4.41 GB per day for a year.

Earlier, this plan was supposed to end in September, but then, it was extended to November, and now till January 31st, 2019.

Users looking for long-term validity of their plans can opt for BSNL’s Rs 1699 plan, and avail good benefits as well.

Here is a comparison of this plan with Jio’s Rs 2099 plan.
