BSNL’s Diwali Masterstroke: 20 GB, Unlimited Calling For Rs 78; Idea’s 1GB/Day Plan Is Cheapest?

Diwali is in 2 days, and telecom companies have started rolling out interesting, economical offers to lure new customers.

Being Diwali, users need such cheap packs to use data and to call their loved ones.

In this endeavor, BSNL has launched a Diwali masterstroke, which is certainly one of the cheapest prepaid plans right now.

Airtel and Idea too have launched their own cheap plans – But which is the cheapest one?

BSNL’s Masterstroke: 20 GB For Rs 78!

State-run BSNL has triggered a new price war, as it is now offering 20 GB of 3G data for just Rs 78.

This means BSNL users can now get per GB for just Rs 3.9. The pack also gets unlimited voice calling. This special Diwali special plan is valid across 20 circles.

Earlier, the same Rs 78 plan was valid for 7 days, which has now been extended to 10 days.

BSNL users can activate this plan by sending ‘STV COMBO78’ text message to 123.

Anupam Shrivastava CMD of BSNL said, “Occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali, STV-78 will suit to all and will enable them to be in touch with their family and friends during the festive season.”

Additional TalkTime On BSNL Recharges

Besides, BSNL is offering 8.8% more talktime on selected recharges, as announced last month. These special recharges are:

Rs 510 (talktime of Rs 555); Rs 410 (talktime of Rs 440); Rs 180 (talktime of Rs 190) and Rs 80.

Idea’s 1GB/Day Plan Is Cheapest?

Competing against biggies Jio and Airtel, Idea Cellular too has launched a new 1 GB/day plan for their users.

Costing Rs 159 for 28, Idea’s new 1GB/day plan seems a good option for Diwali as it covers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS and free roaming calls.

However, this is not the cheapest.

While Airtel and Vodafone, both are offering the same 1 GB/day plan for Rs 159.

But the cheapest is JIo, which is offering 1.5 GB/day for 28 days for Rs 149, which makes it the cheapest daily GB plan.
