Reliance Jio is gearing up for a nation-wide launch of Jio GigaFiber on August 15 as the company is all set to disrupt the broadband industry with its aggressive plans and pricing. The competitor companies have already started to offer loads of data to retain their customers.
Jio GigaFiber registration starts on August 15, and the service will be rolled out in 1,100 Indian cities.
The Jio Gigafiber service is a fixed line broadband service which will offer data speeds upto 1Gbps. The plans are expected to start at as low as Rs 500 offering unlimited data with added multiple benefits.

Several leaks are doing rounds on the internet that Reliance Jio will offer free data for three months, but nothing is still official till now. Here we have comprised some of the expected Jio GigaFiber Plans under the list.
Note – These are the ‘expected’ Jio GigaFiber plans, and the list has been made based on the rumours and leaks.
Rs 500 Jio GigaFiber Plan
The first plan is expected to be priced under Rs 500 which will offer unlimited data at 50mbps up to 300GB a month. The plan will offer high-speed up to 300GB, and post FUP, the Jio GigaFiber 500 Plan can offer unlimited data at a reduced speed. The 500 plan will come with a validity of 30 days.

Reliance Jio hasn’t launched or made any of the Jio GigaFiber plan official yet. The official plans are expected to be unveiled on August 15.
How To Register For Reliance Jio GigaFiber?
Reliance Jio will start taking up Jio GigaFiber registrations from August 15. You can register your location for a Jio GigaFiber connection on the MyJio app or official Jio website. The company will roll out its broadband service in phases and will service the locations first wherefrom it will receive the highest number of registrations.
Reliance Jio will launch Jio GigaFiber in a total of 1,100 locations across the country on August 15.

if jio fiber target the cities where FTTH services is not that popular unlike delhi then it sure can make a difference, as cable tv providers are providing unlimitted data at 50mbps for just 500rs in new delhi…. but in dehradun , for 1500rs you will get just 4mbps speed with unlimitted data..
so if they launch this with more focus on cities where these services are needed then people will sure opt for jio fiber, same goes for me i will be glad to pay 1500 for limited data at high speed rate for sure ,, 400-500gb is enough for home usage :P

Wrong Info. I think Jio will keep basic plans at par with BSNL. 300gb for Rs.249 and 600 GB for Rs.499.
