With less than a month away from Jio GigaFiber service initiation, Reliance Jio is gearing up for a grand launch of its upcoming FTTH services. After disrupting the telecom services country-wide, the company is now all set to enter the broadband industry with Jio GigaFiber services.
The Jio GigaFiber service will not only offer wired FTTH broadband services, but the latest Reliance Jio GigaFiber package will come with a host of other add-on Jio services like and high benefit scheme much like Giga Router, Jio GigaTV, Jio SmartHome, VR, HD TV Calling and more.

The Changing Broadband Industry
The broadband penetration is still low in the country, but the market is growing day by day. With presence of top operators like Airtel, BSNL, ACT and TATA Teleservices, Reliance Jio will soon be disrupting the whole industry with its cheaper plans. With a massive untapped potential market, Reliance Jio is looking to take advantage of this unused market.
The company will now offer super-fast internet connectivity with Jio GigaFiber challenging the conventional internet broadband services.
Jio GigaFiber Package
Reliance Jio will offer a bunch of other services with its upcoming Jio GigaFiber service. The complete Jio GigaFiber package will include the following add-on Jio components –
Jio Giga Router
Reliance Jio is leaving no stone unturned by offering an entire network made up of fiber optic cables. The company will offer internet connectivity at speeds as high as 1Gbps. The company will be offering a specialised Jio Giga Router to make sure you get uninterrupted speeds and internet.
Reliance Jio will be installing Jio Giga Routers as an in-house product for high-speed wall to wall high-speed wireless connection.
Jio GigaTV
Apart from Jio GigaFiber, the company will be offering a bunch of internet-enabled services like Jio GigaTV. It will provide a Jio set-top-box that can stream 400 channels, movies, music, videos and more. The Jio GigaTV will probably a foundation for the Jio DTH services.
You can access to all the content with your Jio GigaFiber connection on your Jio GigaTV connected television.
Jio HD TV Calling
With Jio GigaTV, Reliance Jio will also offer HD Video Calling Services via Jio GigaTV. The HD TV calling service will allow users to make HD video calls from one TV to another TV or from your own Jio GigaTV to another network.
Once connected to your TV, your TV with Jio GigaTV can make HD calls via Jio GigaFiber network.
Jio SmartHome Solutions, 360 Degree & AR Videos
Jio GigaTV will also be offering 360-degree videos, Augmented Reality based media doubled with content based on Virtual Reality (VR). Reliance Jio will also probably offer VR headsets with its Jio GigaTV connection. The company will be providing a platform that can provide a complete solution for 360 degree videos, AR and Virtual Reality.
Apart from VR and AR based content, the company is working on a range of Jio IoT (Internet of things) technology solutions.
It will work as a foundation for the add-on services from Reliance Jio which will integrate Smart Home solutions like home security, sirens, home lighting, smoke and gas sensors. These can be controlled with the help of dongles and smart speakers.
