Asus Zenfone Live L1 Launched

After launching probably the best mid-range smartphone in the country, the Taiwanese giant Asus has now launched a budget Android Go smartphone called ZenFone Live L1. The smartphone will run the latest Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) with an 18:9 widescreen Full View display, Face Unlock and more.

The smartphone will come with 1GB of RAM along with Google’s own suite of apps which are specially designed for Android Go including compressed toned-down apps like Maps Go, Google Go, Files Go, Youtube Go and more.

The Asus ZenFone Live L1 Android Go smartphone has been launched in Indonesia and might make it to India by the second quarter of 2018.

Display

The smartphone will come with a 5.45 inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels with a widescreen 18:9 aspect ratio.

Hardware

The smartphone will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 308 GPU.

Software

The ZenFone Live L1 will run Android Oreo 8.1 (Go Edition) with ZenUI 5.0 UI on top.

Camera

The ZenFone Live L1 will come with a single 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and a LED flash. Up front, the smartphone will come with a 5-megapixel fixed focus sensor.

Storage

The smartphone will come with 16GB of onboard storage with an expandable memory upto 2TB with an external microSD card.

Connectivity

The ZenFone Live L1 will come with dual-SIM support with 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a Micro-USB port with OTG (on-the-go) support. There is no fingerprint sensor on the smartphone.

Battery

The smartphone will pack a 3000mAh battery which, unfortunately, will not support fast-charging.

Pricing & Variants

The smartphone has been priced at IDR 1.5 million (around Rs. 7,200) and will be available in Rose Pink, Midnight Black, White and Blue colour options.

A new upgraded version of Nokia 6 in the form of Nokia 6.1 has launched with the latest version of Android One on board.

The Nokia 6.1 will come with a 6000-series aluminium unibody build. It houses a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 2.5D curved glass on top. At the back, the smartphone will come with a 16MP ZEISS lens rear camera coupled with dual-tone flash and an 8MP front-facing shooter with face unlock support.

Under the hood, Nokia 6.1 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core chipset clocking at 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage (expandable via a memory card). Nokia 6.1 will run the latest version of Android Oreo on top.

The smartphone has been launched under Google’s Android One program. The Nokia 6.1 will come with a USB-C port with fast charging support backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. The fast-charging support will enable it to charge 60% faster than its predecessor, the Nokia 6.
