The upcoming flagship from Xiaomi, Mi 7 has already been leaked multiple times in the past. The handset is expected to launch in February next year, and the alleged specifications and pricing of the upcoming Mi 7 has been leaked online.
The predecessor Xiaomi Mi 6 was announced back in April and Mi 7 is expected to get a launch during the next year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in Barcelona in the month of February. Both Mi 6 and Mi 5 were launched the similar way at respective Mobile World Congress events in 2016 and 2017.

Mi 7 – Leaked Specifications & Price

As per website, Xiaomi Mi 7 will come with a bezel-less full-screen OLED display with the next-gen flagship chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 845.

Bezel Less Display

The Mi 7 will follow the present trend of edge to edge displays, and will come with a 6.01 inch OLED display with a screen aspect ratio of 18:9, and as per the rumours, the display will be supplied by Samsung. The fingerprint sensor will stay at the back, as per the leak.

Next-Gen Snapdragon 845

Under the hold the upcoming Mi 7 will get powered by the upcoming flagship chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 845. Mi 7 probably will be the first device in the world to use the upcoming SoC. The processor will couple with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU. The new chipset is expected to be released in the coming month.

Dual 16MP Camera

Coming to optics, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature a set of dual rear cameras of 16MP + 16MP sensor combination with an f/1.7 aperture.

Wireless Charging

Xiaomi Mi 7 could support wireless charging, as the company has recently joined the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Mi 7 might come with Qi standard wireless charging support.

MI 7 Variants

The Xiaomi Mi 7 will come in two storage variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM. The handset will come with a similar dual rear camera setup just like Mi 6, with a combination of wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.

MI 7 Price

As per the leak, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to cost around 2,999 Yuan for the 6GB variant, that is around Rs. 29,400. As per another report, the price of Mi 7 could be below 30,000-mark.

Mi 6 still hasn’t made it to India, but we wish Xiaomi does launch Mi 7 in the country, given their growth dynamics and state of expansion.

Xiaomi Launch ‘Mi Exchange Program’ in India For Mi Homes

Xiaomi has partnered with Cashify to launch a new ‘Mi Exchange Program’ in India for Mi Homes, where customers will be able to exchange their old smartphones for an extra discount on the purchase of a new Xiaomi handset.

Under the new exchange program from Xiaomi, users who are interested in buying a newer Xiaomi handset can exchange their older device for an additional discount upon the price of the new Xiaomi smartphone.

How This Works?

You need to visit the Cashify website or download their app, and the value of your old device will be determined by the Cashify team, following which you will be given an equivalent price cut, and can avail a discount on your new Xiaomi smartphone. You can get an idea of the resale value of your old handset beforehand. Simply log on to the Cashify website, and provide the details.

Cashify will arrange a pick-up for your old device to be exchanged, or users can make the rest of payment for their new Xiaomi smartphone at the nearest Mi Home and Cashify later pay them back.

The exchange offer is limited to one device per purchase, and the valuation of your old smartphone will be done on the basis of the condition of the device.
