Infinix Zero 5 Launching On 14th November: Bezel-less Display & Dual Cameras!
While the design of the Infinix Zero 5 is not so original, the dual camera and 6GB RAM make it an interesting device.
The Hong Kong based Chinese smartphone maker Infinix is getting ready for their next big launch in the Indian market on 14th November. It is the Infinix Zero 5 and it is going to be a bezel-less smartphone with dual cameras at the back.
The Infinix Zero 5 is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000/- and will go on sale by November end. The company has already sent out media invites for a launch event in Dubai on November 14.
Infinix Zero 5 – Expected Features And Specifications
The device has been spotted online with a set of mid-range specifications, sporting dual cameras and a modern 18:9 aspect ratio display. We have here a list of expected specifications and features. Some of these might change or be different at the time of launch.
Metal And Glass Body
According to an image leaked on social media, the Infinix Zero 5 is expected to sport a full metal body with a glass window housing the dual cameras and the LED flash.
The Infinix Zero 5 is believed to feature an edge to edge bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.
The device will feature a dual-camera setup at the back with 2X optical zoom. The dual camera setup will be a combination of a telephoto lens and a wide angle lens.
6 GB RAM
The Infinix Zero 5 will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity, which can be further expanded with an external memory card.
The device is also rumoured to be IP68 certified giving the Infinix Zero 5 protection against water and dust.
Like all the smartphones releasing now, the Infinix Zero 5 is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The Infinix Zero 4 Plus carried a MediaTek Helio X20 processor when it was launched last year. The Infinix Zero 5 is expected to be powered by the new upgraded 10nm Helio X30 chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM.
Multiple Color Options
The red color variant of Zero 5 has already been spotted online. The smartphone is expected to be available in even more colour variants.
The Infinix Zero 5 will get a battery upgrade over Zero 4 Plus with a bigger 4350mAh battery, which can easily last for a long time on a single charge.
The Zero 5 will feature the new, stable version of XOS Hummingbird v3.0. This will replace the older XOS Chameleon. The newer version has some impressive features on board, which includes integrated VR (Virtual Reality).
Infinix Zero 5 in India
The smartphone will launch in the country next week, on 14th November. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000/-. It will go on sale by the end of this month, probably via Flipkart which has been the authorised online seller for previous Infinix phones in India.
Infinix has already launched Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix Hot 4 Pro in India in the budget category. It will be interesting to see how a newly launched brand performs in the upper midrange category, with their latest offering!
