Intex iRist revealed at MWC Shanghai 2015

Intex today took the wraps off the new Smartwatch i.e. Intex iRist. iRist is a new independent Smartwatch from the house of Intex. The wearable was revealed at Mobile World Congress 2015 Shanghai. The watch’s talk point is its ability to work individually on SIM which enables the user to receive calls and messages without the need of a Smartphone.

iRist is water and dust resistant Smartwatch, it also comes with 1.56 inch OLED Display with 240*240 pixel resolution, it also comes with 600 mAh battery which Intex claims can go up to 240 minutes of talktime and 200 hours standby. It also comes with a 5 MP camera which can shoot videos up to 720p as well. It also has 3G support, Wi-Fi reception and GPS. iRist runs on Android 4.4.2 out of the box.

Xiaomi teased wireless charging for Mi5 and Mi5 Plus

Xiaomi is all set to launch their flagship smartphone i.e. Mi5 and Mi5 Plus on 16th of July 2015; though company wants to keep the excitement in, they have just given a sneak peek of the wireless charging capabilities of their upcoming flagship devices. Xiaomi in an image across all their social media platforms has revealed that wireless charging will be there in the upcoming smartphone. Xiaomi cryptically announced the same in their Facebook post.

No other Xiaomi phone had this feature as of now. Mi5 and Mi5 Plus are expected to arrive with Snapdragon 810 and 820 SoC respectively which will be coupled up with 4 gigs of RAM. A lot of work and improvement will be shown in the camera segment as per the leaked information.

Refurbished OnePlus One to arrive on Overcart for Rs. 12,999

Overcart has just announced that OnePlus One’s refurbished units will be making their way to the marketplace very soon. 16 gigs model will be sold for just Rs. 12,999 with 6 months of manufacturer warranty.

Overcart revealed that sales return percentage of e-commerce companies in India can rise up to 25% for a number of product categories while electronic products have a 12-15% returns as per the internal survey conducted by them. Overcart has mentioned that all the units which will go on sale starting from next week will undergo a complete quality check.

Next Nexus’s specs revealed by @evleaks

Google’s Nexus has always held a special place in Android lovers because of the stock experience that it delivers. Google is rumored to announce two Nexus devices this year. Google’s 2013 Nexus 5 will be returning with upgraded specs sheet and it will be made by LG itself. Apart from this, Nexus 6’s successor is rumoured to be made by Huawei and today @evleaks has revealed some of the specs of the upcoming Google flagship device.

Source revealed that next Nexus will arrive with 5.7 inch QHD display which clearly indicates that like last year this year’s nexus is also based on phablet category. Apart from this, information about full metal design body, presence of Snapdragon 820 SoC and fingerprint biometric lock has also appeared. As usual next Nexus will start shipping in Q4 of 2015.

Samsung Galaxy A8 launched, putting an end to leaks.

Samsung’s Galaxy A8 has been launched by company in China today. The phone comes with a nearly bezels less design which was earlier revealed in leaked images. Also, the phone features a biometric fingerprint scanner as well. The smartphone is just 5.9 mm thick which is the slimmest in Samsung’s line of products.

The device flaunts a 5.7 inch HD AMOLED display, it comes with a 16 MP and 5 MP sensors on the back and front, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2 gigs of RAM, 16/32 gigs of onboard memory with SD card support, 3,050 mAh battery, NFC, 4G, Fingerprint reader and it runs on Android Lollipop.
