It has been a while that the giant had announced about the update, it was almost a month ago, but failed to roll out on time. The firm was supposed to roll out the update on 30th March, but it didn’t happen.
“The improvement in the update will surely leave you amazed and everything would be beyond your expectations,” according to the Cyanogen official blog. The update will be available for each and every OnePlus One user – in India too.
Many Indian users were earlier unhappy that they may not get this update due to Cyanogen’s exclusive partnership with Micromax’s Yu Yureka. But, it is clear now that the update will be available globally to everyone, including OnePlus purchased in India through Amazon.
The CM12S will support extra theming features which will give you a chance to customize the app themes via App Themer. Before releasing the update, the Chinese firm released OnePlus One 16GB version at 18,999 in February in India.
The first version of OnePlus One was launched in India in the month of November and since then, the sales have been booming like anything. More than 1000k units were sold globally after its release. And then after, the giant never looked back and surprised the customers with its new releases.
The invites for OnePlus One are still on and the overwhelming response from the customers after releasing the 64GB version, speaks all about the popularity of the device in India. Meanwhile, it’s giving a tough time to the other Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Yureka etc.
This update will surely boost the speed and working of apps with 3GB RAM installed in the phone. It would be interesting to see the response from the users after the update. Will it be able to give the best performance? For that, we have to wait and watch.
But, if you have already received the CM12S update on your OnePlus One smartphone, you can share your thoughts with us and let the users know more about the update.
