If you are one of those who is not aware of Teen Patti – Here is a brief introduction. Teen Patti is a multiplayer card game that you can play with bots (computer) or with your friends anywhere in the world or other users concurrently playing Octro Teen Patti. You can play in public room or in a private room where you can invite your friends and decide the bet per point. In the Teen Patti game you win or lose chips; however the chips have no real cash value. The game does not involve gambling. It is completely free. If you lose all your free chips, you can buy more chips to play for longer period, and user gets free chips to play on a daily basis every time he logs in.
Though it has millions of players worldwide, game developers still don’t make huge revenues due to limitation of payment channels to buy chips inside the game. A player needs to have a credit card, which is a big bottleneck.
However, going forward it will be much easier to buy chips next time you play the Teen Patti game. Octro has tied up with carrier billing payment provider Fortumo. So, payment for the chips will now directly be deducted either from player’s pre-paid balance or will appear on their post-paid phone bill. This facility has been enabled only for Windows phone users. Android currently does not allow third party payment option, so it cannot be implemented on Android. Although, we are not sure, iOS Teen Patti should get carrier billion option shortly as well.
Saurabh Aggarwal, CEO & President, Octro Inc. said,“Fortumo is a globally known brand in this space. It has integrations all around the world and its reputation gives us confidence to proceed as its partner. Integration was easy. Benefits are immense when we look at Indian populace. We are looking to increase our revenues by allowing our users to use the Fortumo payment platform,”
Fortumo has grown quite rapidly over past few months as the preferred carrier billing integration platform for Indian game developers that include Games2Win, Game Insight, Creative Mobile and others.
