<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThree Doctors Arrested In Damoh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The racket first came to light in Damoh, where three doctors working under the National Health Mission at Sanjeevani Clinics were arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The accused, identified as Kumar Sachin Yadav, Rajpal Gaur and Ajay Maurya, had reportedly been working as doctors for more than two years. Two of them were posted at government health facilities in Damoh, while another was working at a Sanjeevani facility in Jabalpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Investigators found that some of the accused allegedly used registration numbers belonging to genuine doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fake MBBS Degrees And Registration Numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The investigation has revealed that the alleged fraud involved both educational qualifications and medical council registrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One accused reportedly altered an old 2018 registration number to make it appear as though it had been issued in 2023. Investigators found that the registration number actually belonged to another doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities also found discrepancies in the educational qualifications of some accused individuals. One reportedly held a genuine BDS degree, while another had a BHMS qualification, despite allegedly working as an MBBS doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Investigators suspect that fake MBBS degrees and forged registration documents were arranged for Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Patients Were Being Treated Every Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The scale of the alleged fraud has raised serious concerns because these individuals were not merely using fake qualifications on paper. They were reportedly examining patients at government healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The accused were seeing around 30 to 40 patients every day. Although Sanjeevani Clinics primarily provide outpatient services, patients were still being examined, diagnosed and prescribed medicines by people whose medical credentials are now under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The accused were also reportedly receiving salaries of around Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Probe Expands Across Madhya Pradesh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the Damoh arrests, authorities expanded the investigation to other districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police in Bhopal have registered a case against nine accused doctors after their documents and registration numbers were found suspicious. In some cases, registration numbers submitted by the accused reportedly belonged to genuine doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities are now investigating who created the forged documents, how the fake qualifications were obtained and whether a larger organised network was involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
