The feature also included a <strong>Partner Finance Lock<\/strong>, designed to prevent a restricted device from being erased or resold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These findings led to speculation that Apple would remotely disable leased iPhones when customers missed payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apple Says Devices Won&#8217;t Be Restricted<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple has now dismissed those concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company confirmed that <strong>Apple Upgrade customers will not lose access to their devices<\/strong> because of missed lease payments.
