AI Used Across Multiple Stages of Production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Netflix, generative AI has been integrated into various stages of the production process, including concept development, pre-visualisation, post-production and final delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, the largest share of AI usage has been in post-production, where the technology has assisted with visual effects, background enhancements, crowd creation and other time-intensive tasks that traditionally require significant manual effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Indian Series ‘Glory’ Among AI-Assisted Productions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Netflix identified Glory<\/em>, an upcoming Indian sports thriller, as one of the titles that incorporated generative AI during production. Other examples include the Brazilian football miniseries Brasil 70: A Saga do Tri<\/em> and the American documentary series The American Experiment<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company explained that AI enabled production teams to create scenes that would have otherwise been too expensive or time-consuming using conventional techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faster Production Without Replacing Creators<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Netflix executives stressed that AI is intended to function as a creative tool that supports filmmakers rather than replacing writers, directors or visual artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company said AI has helped reduce production time and costs for certain sequences while allowing creators to execute more ambitious ideas within limited budgets. Human oversight continues to remain central throughout the creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
