Massive Industrial Expansion Planned<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Orvakal Industrial Node is being developed across nearly 2,621 acres under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. The project is expected to become a large integrated industrial ecosystem supporting multiple sectors including automobile components, electronics, aerospace, textiles, food processing, renewable energy, and pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Government and industry estimates suggest the region could generate more than 45,000 direct and indirect jobs once large-scale industrial activity begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Location Driving Interest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Orvakal\u2019s location near Bengaluru and Hyderabad has emerged as a major advantage for industrial development. The region is connected through NH-44 and NH-40, while Kurnool Airport located nearby provides additional logistics support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The industrial node also benefits from access to Krishnapatnam Port and major freight corridors, improving export and supply-chain connectivity for manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials have stated that food processing will become one of the key pillars of Orvakal\u2019s industrial expansion. Proposed agro-processing projects are expected to strengthen the local agricultural economy by creating direct demand for farm produce from nearby districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government is also targeting investments from logistics companies, warehousing operators, renewable energy firms, electronics manufacturers, and MSME supply-chain businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
