{"id":1308051,"date":"2026-04-07T08:49:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T03:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1308051"},"modified":"2026-04-07T08:49:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T03:19:28","slug":"amul-crosses-rs-1-lakh-crore-annual-revenues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/amul-crosses-rs-1-lakh-crore-annual-revenues\/","title":{"rendered":"Amul Crosses Rs 1 Lakh Crore Annual Revenues"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The world&#8217;s largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF) announced a historic milestone as the Amul brand turnover crossed the Rs 1 lakh crore mark for the financial year 2025-26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/amul-dhoni-ad-thumb-1280x720-1-1024x576-1.jpg\" alt=\"Amul Crosses Rs 1 Lakh Crore Annual Revenues\" class=\"wp-image-1308057\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/amul-dhoni-ad-thumb-1280x720-1-1024x576-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/amul-dhoni-ad-thumb-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/amul-dhoni-ad-thumb-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amul Becomes Dominant Global Dairy Cooperative<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this update, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tribuneindia.com\/news\/business\/amul-brands-turnover-crosses-rs-1-lakh-crore-with-11-growth\/\">Amul<\/a> has solidified its position as a dominant global dairy cooperative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For 2024-25, the brand has total unduplicated revenue increased by 11 per cent over a base of Rs 90,000 crores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It appears that the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) registered a sales turnover of Rs 73,450 crore hence marking an impressive 11.4 per cent increase over Rs 65,911 crore of the previous financial year, making it the largest FMCG organization in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This growth is mainly powered by a massive product portfolio of more than 1,200 product packs.&nbsp; Besides this, the brand has a vast distribution network, and a rapid adaptation to the evolving needs of modern consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Along with its 18-member district cooperatives, this federation continues to lead the dairy landscape with the strategy of blending localised markets with the powerhouse Amul brand identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amul &#8211; No. 1 Cooperative in the World<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides this, recently Amul is recognized as the No. 1 Cooperative in the world by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only that, Amul has also focused on domestic dominance but also on an aggressive global expansion strategy throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this, the brand has signalled its intent to become a staple brand in international households, as per the vision of PM Modi to have an Indian food item on every dining table of the world by launching its fresh milk in Europe and the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, Amit Shah, Union Minister of Home Affairs, launched Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited (SPCDF) on July 6, 2025 under a strategic move to scale the cooperative model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second White Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new federation which is registered under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies, is expected to bring village-level dairy cooperatives from outside Gujarat into a unified national network and is envisioned to usher in the Second White Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Crossing the Rs 1 lakh crore brand turnover is a testament to the trust of millions of consumers and the tireless hard work of our 36 Lakh dairy farmers,&#8221; said Ashokbhai Chaudhary, Chairman of GCMMF (Amul).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&#8220;Our journey to the Rs 1 lakh crore milestone is a definitive victory for the cooperative spirit.
