Hyundai is preparing for a significant product rollout in India this year as part of its \u20b945,000 crore investment plan, with several major launches scheduled. The company will introduce facelifts, generational upgrades, and all-new models across segments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among these, the third-generation Hyundai Creta<\/strong> is expected to be the most important launch of 2026. Set to debut in late 2026, the new Creta will feature a major design overhaul, including updates to the front fascia, silhouette, and rear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spy shots hint at redesigned alloy wheels as well. Inside, the SUV will receive a refreshed cabin layout, a new steering wheel with Hyundai\u2019s \u2018four dots\u2019 morse-code logo, and larger 12.3-inch screens replacing the outgoing 10.25-inch units. Built on the third-generation K3 platform, shared with the latest Seltos, the Creta will likely grow slightly and offer improved structural rigidity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the current 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines, Hyundai may introduce a strong-hybrid 1.5-litre petrol powertrain focused on performance and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai\u2019s Upcoming SUVs, Facelifts, and EV Advancements Set for India in 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai is also evaluating the second-generation Bayon<\/strong> for India, currently undergoing testing in Korea. The new Bayon will adopt a more rugged SUV-inspired design and is expected to launch with a newly developed 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that is hybrid-ready. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol from the i20 N Line<\/strong> may also be offered, with transmission choices including a six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Like the previous model, the new Bayon is likely to share several interior components with the next-generation i20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hyundai Exter<\/strong>, launched in 2023, will receive its first facelift in 2026. It is expected to feature mild cosmetic changes such as updated bumpers and lighting. The cabin will gain ventilated seats, a larger 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 9.9-inch digital cluster, and Hyundai\u2019s Android Automotive-based infotainment system. Mechanically, the Exter will continue with its current petrol and CNG options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyundai will also introduce an Inster-based electric SUV<\/strong>, built on the E-GMP (K) platform, with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery options offering around 300 km and 355 km ranges respectively. Additionally, the facelifted IONIQ 5, featuring subtle styling updates, added features, and a new 84 kWh battery with up to 700 km range, will arrive as Hyundai\u2019s flagship EV in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
