The <strong>Strait of Hormuz<\/strong>, a critical route through which nearly <strong>20% of the world\u2019s crude oil, natural gas, and LPG flows<\/strong>, has been severely affected due to escalating military tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the disruption, several countries have introduced strict energy-saving measures such as reduced fuel consumption, limited office operations, and even temporary closures of institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">India\u2019s Oil Supply Remains Stable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the global crisis, the government has emphasized that <strong>India has secured enough crude oil supplies through alternative routes and sources<\/strong>. According to the minister, the country has managed to obtain crude volumes that <strong>exceed what would normally arrive through the Hormuz route<\/strong>, ensuring uninterrupted supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India has also diversified its oil import sources. Retail fuel outlets are adequately stocked, and consumers should not panic about shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further protect domestic consumers, the government has instructed refiners to <strong>increase LPG production<\/strong> and prioritize household supply. In fact, LPG production has reportedly <strong>increased by about 28% in recent days<\/strong> to ensure that cooking gas availability remains unaffected for Indian families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diversifying Energy Sources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>India is also increasing imports of LPG and energy supplies from new partners such as the <strong>United States, Norway, Canada, and Russia<\/strong>, reducing reliance on traditional Gulf suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strategy aims to ensure uninterrupted supply even during global disruptions and strengthen India\u2019s long-term energy resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even as the West Asia conflict disrupts global oil markets and key shipping routes, the Indian government has reassured citizens that <strong>the country\u2019s crude oil supply remains secure<\/strong>.
