Even some labelled as \u201corganic\u201d were found to have elevated lead levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Lead in Vegetables Is a Concern<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lead is a <strong>toxic heavy metal<\/strong> known to accumulate in the human body over time.
