{"id":1305070,"date":"2026-01-20T14:01:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T08:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1305070"},"modified":"2026-01-20T14:01:55","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T08:31:55","slug":"jiomart-now-has-16-lakh-daily-order-becomes-indias-2nd-biggest-quick-commerce-firm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/jiomart-now-has-16-lakh-daily-order-becomes-indias-2nd-biggest-quick-commerce-firm\/","title":{"rendered":"JioMart Now Has 16 Lakh Daily Order: Becomes India&#8217;s 2nd Biggest Quick Commerce Firm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The latest company\u2019s Q3 FY26 investor presentation revealed that Reliance\u2019s quick commerce business JioMart clocked a daily order run rate of 1.6 million by the end of December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Untitled-design-4-3-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-1024x576-1024x576-1-1.jpeg\" alt=\"JioMart Now Has 16 Lakh Daily Order: Becomes India's 2nd Biggest Quick Commerce Firm\" class=\"wp-image-1305079\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Untitled-design-4-3-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-1024x576-1024x576-1-1.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Untitled-design-4-3-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-1024x576-1024x576-1-1-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Untitled-design-4-3-1280x720-1-1024x576-1-1024x576-1024x576-1-1-768x432.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jiomart Becomes The Second-largest Quick Commerce Player in India<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a significant achievement as the brand marked a sharp 53% quarter-on-quarter jump and an over 360% year-on-year growth in average daily orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In comparison to its peers Blinkit averaged around 2.4 million daily orders in the July-September quarter and Swiggy Instamart handled about 1.1 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reliance said <a href=\"https:\/\/m.economictimes.com\/tech\/technology\/reliances-jiomart-hits-1-6-million-daily-orders-claims-to-be-second-highest-qcomm-player-in-india\/amp_articleshow\/126599996.cms\">JioMart<\/a> is now India\u2019s second-largest quick commerce player by order volume, trailing Blinkit&nbsp; based on these numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the quarter, this company added 5.9 million new customers with its overall customer base expanding 43% year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, the company\u2019s registered customer base expanded to 378 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And why not as now JioMart operates across more than 5,000 pin codes, supported by over 3,000 stores in over 1,000 cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jiomart Claiming Transaction Frequency Twice Of Its Competitors&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving ahead, Reliance claimed that transaction frequency on its digital platforms is roughly twice that of competitors while denying&nbsp; to disclose the exact figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, Reliance continued to add dark stores and deepen its catalogue, which helped push up order volumes during the quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s quick commerce operations are closely integrated with its wider retail network of 19,979 stores across formats, which serve as fulfilment points for hyperlocal deliveries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This setup has helped in bringing down the average distance per order, a key cost driver in last-mile delivery according to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The timing of this update coincides with Reliance&#8217;s third-quarter results as the company reported a marginal 0.56% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 18,645 crore, attributable to shareholders, while revenue from operations grew 11% to Rs 2.69 lakh crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to Reliance Retail\u2019s quarterly gross revenue, it stood at Rs 97,605 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which is almost 8% up year on year, aided by festive demand, network expansion and rising digital adoption.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the December quarter, Jiomart reported steady performance&nbsp; led by grocery, digital commerce and consumer electronics, even as margins moderated compared with last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest company\u2019s Q3 FY26 investor presentation revealed that Reliance\u2019s quick commerce business JioMart clocked a daily order run rate of 1.6 million by the end of December 2025.
