{"id":1304074,"date":"2025-12-24T14:14:09","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T08:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1304074"},"modified":"2025-12-24T14:14:37","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T08:44:37","slug":"swiggy-launches-offline-store-to-experience-their-products-physically","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/swiggy-launches-offline-store-to-experience-their-products-physically\/","title":{"rendered":"Swiggy Launches Offline Store To Experience Their Products Physically"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Instamart, Swiggy\u2019s quick delivery service, has launched an experiential store in Gurugram as the quick commerce sector evolves and shoppers look for new ways to engage with products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"523\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-24-141202-1024x523.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1304088\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-24-141202-1024x523.png 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-24-141202-300x153.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-24-141202-768x392.png 768w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-24-141202.png 1255w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bengaluru-based company has introduced its first Instamart-branded mini experiential store, allowing customers to physically see and handle items available on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instamart Launches Its First Experiential Store in Gurugram<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These experiential stores are designed to operate in and around residential societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stores will be opened, operated, and managed by sellers, similar to how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moneycontrol.com\/news\/business\/swiggy-s-instamart-opens-offline-experience-store-as-quick-commerce-evolves-13735466.html\">Instamart\u2019s dark stores function.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this model, sales revenue from the experiential stores will go directly to the sellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This differs from the regular Instamart model, where payments are first made to Swiggy and later transferred to sellers after deducting the company\u2019s commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has clarified that these outlets are not full-fledged retail stores but small experiential formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Limited Product Assortment Sets Instamart\u2019s Experiential Stores Apart<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The product range in these stores will be limited, with approximately 100 to 200 stock-keeping units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is significantly lower than the 15,000 to 20,000 SKUs typically stocked at Instamart\u2019s dark stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each experiential store will measure around 400 square feet in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This makes them roughly one-tenth the size of a standard 4,000-square-foot dark store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main product categories in these stores will include fresh fruits and vegetables, pulses, newly launched products, and direct-to-consumer brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, Instamart is operating this format only in Gurugram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has not disclosed whether it plans to continue or expand this experiential store model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swiggy has not responded to queries regarding the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to people familiar with the matter, this move does not indicate a shift toward an omnichannel retail strategy for Instamart at this stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pilot comes shortly after Swiggy raised Rs 10,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement, which received strong investor interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swiggy has stated that around half of the funds raised through the QIP will be used to expand its quick commerce business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/indianfoodtimes.com\/swiggy-instamart-tests-offline-experiential-store-in-gurugram-as-quick-commerce-enters-new-phase\">IMAGE Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Instamart, Swiggy\u2019s quick delivery service, has launched an experiential store in Gurugram as the quick commerce sector evolves and shoppers look for new ways to engage with products.
