Until now, the Yellow Line has been operating with just five train sets, resulting in a train frequency of one every 15 minutes<\/strong><\/a>. With the sixth train arriving in late November and ready for deployment, BMRCL will now be able to reduce the headway to 12 minutes<\/strong>, making travel smoother and quicker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials noted that the new frequency is likely to be implemented from December 22<\/strong>, subject to final inspections, safety checks, and operational approvals. Once cleared, the updated schedule will help reduce platform crowding and long queues\u2014an issue frequently reported by Yellow Line commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
