Once operational, the freeway will reduce travel time between Thane and South Mumbai to <strong>just 25\u201330 minutes<\/strong>\u2014a significant improvement over current peak-hour journeys that often exceed 60\u201390 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eastern Express Highway (EEH), one of Mumbai\u2019s most critical and congested arterial routes, currently handles lakhs of commuters daily.
