The cooperative has <strong>zero government stake<\/strong> and is fully owned by its driver-members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>over 51,000 registered drivers in New Delhi and Saurashtra<\/strong>, it is already the world\u2019s largest national driver-owned mobility cooperative at the beta stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amit Shah stated that the app <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/news\/india\/bharat-taxi-set-to-take-on-ola-uber-rapido-check-out-the-key-features-of-the-ride-hailing-app-11764684509272.html\">aims <\/a>to <em>\u201cfree commercial vehicle drivers from dependency on private companies,\u201d<\/em> giving them full control over earnings and governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key benefits for drivers include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>100% fare retention<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Annual dividends and profit-sharing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Representation on the cooperative\u2019s board<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transparent, community-driven decision-making<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Soft Launch Begins in Delhi and Gujarat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bharat Taxi app entered <strong>beta trials on Google Play Store<\/strong> with soft launches in Delhi and Gujarat. An iOS version is expected soon.
