Mahindra will unveil the XEV 9S, a three-row electric SUV built on the INGLO skateboard platform, on November 27 at the \u2018Scream Electric\u2019 event in Bengaluru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahindra Set to Unveil XEV 9S Three-Row Electric SUV at \u2018Scream Electric\u2019 Event on November 27<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The XEV 9S will enter a segment with almost no direct competitors, becoming India\u2019s first mainstream 7-seater<\/a> electric SUV priced between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Kia Carens Clavis EV also offers seven seats, its MPV-style design leaves Mahindra with an edge among buyers seeking a true SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The XEV 9S benefits from a unique market position, giving it an early lead in an underdeveloped segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exterior adopts a tall, practical shape rather than the sportier rooflines seen on models like the BE 6 and XEV 9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SUV\u2019s silhouette is straighter and more family-focused to maximise space inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teaser images highlight slim LED DRLs, triangular projector elements, Mahindra\u2019s new butterfly emblem, and a rear design inspired by the XUV700 with smoother surfaces and smoked tail-lamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahindra XEV 9S: Specifications and Features<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A key exterior feature will be an openable panoramic sunroof, improving on the fixed glass roofs seen in some other Mahindra EVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the cabin appears to be among Mahindra\u2019s most premium, featuring a lounge-like layout with soft-touch surfaces, modern door pads, and updated toggle-style power window switches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Harman Kardon audio system, also present in other top-end Mahindra EVs, enhances the luxury feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dashboard continues the three-screen setup, including a digital driver display, central infotainment unit, and a separate passenger screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convenience features include a power-adjustable driver\u2019s seat with memory, ventilated seats, wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sliding and reclining seats in the first and second rows, along with a flat floor from the INGLO platform, improve cabin flexibility and third-row access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although official powertrain details are pending, the XEV 9S will likely use the 59kWh and 79kWh LFP battery packs found in the XEV 9e and BE 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Higher variants are expected to deliver a driving range of over 500km and support ultra-fast DC charging for both city and highway travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pricing is estimated between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 35 lakh depending on variants and battery choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By blending family-friendly space with advanced EV technology, the XEV 9S aims to establish a new niche in India\u2019s electric SUV market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
