The company reportedly used the <strong>promise of a Green Card<\/strong> as leverage, coercing him into compliance under the threat of <strong>deportation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit claims that Vallabhaneni was forced to <strong>pay his own salary for six months<\/strong>, faced <strong>inconsistent payments<\/strong>, and often struggled to cover basic needs like <strong>rent and medical care<\/strong>. His family also suffered when their <strong>health insurance lapsed<\/strong>, leaving them without coverage during a medical emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Forced labour, labour trafficking, and withholding visa documents are crimes,<\/strong>\u201d the lawsuit stated, accusing the firm of violating US labour and immigration laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A \u201cSquid Game\u201d for Indian H-1B Workers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Labour trafficking expert <strong>Jay Palmer<\/strong>, who helped prepare the lawsuit, described the case as a <strong>\u201cSquid Game\u201d scenario<\/strong> for Indian workers \u2014 where the ultimate goal is to stay in the US despite severe exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a very exploitative culture. Indian CEOs import <strong>caste-based discrimination politics<\/strong> from back home into US workplaces,\u201d Palmer told <strong>Breitbart News<\/strong>. The lawsuit highlights a broader pattern in which some staffing and outsourcing firms use visa dependence to <strong>trap foreign employees<\/strong> in abusive conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SiriSoft Yet to Respond<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Siri Software Solutions and its CEO <strong>Pavan Tata<\/strong> have not yet issued a public statement regarding the allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vallabhaneni\u2019s story traces back to his arrival in the US on an <strong>F-1 student visa in 2015<\/strong>.
