The presence of skilled medical professionals, advanced facilities, and the integration of <strong>traditional wellness systems like Ayurveda<\/strong> further strengthen its appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An $800 Billion Global Market Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At the <strong>CII Health Summit<\/strong> in New Delhi, Goyal highlighted that the <strong>global medical travel market<\/strong> is valued at around <strong>$800 billion<\/strong> and could expand to <strong>$1 trillion<\/strong> with the integration of wellness and fitness services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized that <strong>India can become the center of this ecosystem<\/strong>, combining cost competitiveness, modern medical innovation, and traditional wellness practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry reports project India\u2019s medical tourism market to grow at a <strong>12.3% CAGR<\/strong>, reaching <strong>$58.2 billion by 2035<\/strong>, up from <strong>$18.2 billion in 2025<\/strong>, according to a study by <strong>FHRAI and KPMG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Challenges Ahead: Infrastructure Gaps Beyond Metros<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While metro cities like Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai dominate the sector, <strong>Tier-II and Tier-III cities<\/strong> still face major infrastructure gaps.
