Drivers, now called <em>\u201cSaarthis\u201d<\/em>, will retain 100% of their earnings, gaining more control and dignity in their profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This structure ensures financial inclusion and equitable profit distribution, addressing one of the biggest pain points in the current ride-hailing ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transparent and Affordable Fares<\/strong><br>Commuters will benefit from <strong>no surge pricing<\/strong>, <strong>predictable fares<\/strong>, and <strong>better accountability<\/strong>. Bharat Taxi\u2019s digital integration with <strong>DigiLocker<\/strong> and <strong>UMANG<\/strong> ensures a seamless, tech-enabled experience for both passengers and Saarthis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>pilot project<\/strong> is set to roll out in <strong>Delhi in November 2025<\/strong> with around <strong>650 driver-owners<\/strong>, expanding to other Indian cities by <strong>December 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Step Towards Cooperative Prosperity<\/strong><br>The initiative aligns with the government\u2019s broader <em>\u201cSahakar se Samriddhi\u201d<\/em> vision \u2014 promoting cooperative enterprises that balance profit with social welfare.
