The Trump administration claims the move will protect American workers from foreign wage competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India has been the <strong>largest beneficiary<\/strong> of H-1B visas, accounting for nearly <strong>three-fourths of total approvals<\/strong> last year. The new regulations are expected to pressure Indian outsourcing and engineering firms that depend heavily on skilled Indian professionals in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tata Technologies\u2019 Global Workforce Strategy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Headquartered in Pune, Tata Technologies employs over <strong>12,000 people across 25 countries<\/strong>. North America contributes roughly <strong>20% of its $587.97 million revenue (FY2024-25)<\/strong>. The company\u2019s workforce in China, Sweden, the U.K., and the U.S. already includes <strong>over 70% local nationals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its key clients include <strong>Jaguar Land Rover, Boeing, and VinFast<\/strong>, spanning industries from automotive to aerospace and heavy machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bullish Outlook Despite Tariff Impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While U.S. tariffs have hit automotive clients hard, Tata Technologies remains optimistic. \u201cThat market continues to be a very vibrant and important market,\u201d Harris said, predicting a <strong>business rebound in the next 6\u20139 months<\/strong> as clients adjust to the new trade regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company, which recently announced an <strong>$87.47 million acquisition of Germany\u2019s ES-Tec Group<\/strong>, also reported a <strong>5% rise in quarterly profit<\/strong> and plans further <strong>targeted acquisitions<\/strong> to expand its global footprint.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tata Technologies, a leading Indian engineering and technology services firm, plans to increase its recruitment of local nationals in the United States in response to new visa restrictions under President Donald Trump\u2019s administration.
