In the latest global passport rankings, the Indian passport has taken a tumble and slipped several spots to 85th place while tied with Mauritania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henley Passport Index Release <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indian passport holders can now travel visa-free to 57 countries as per the latest Henley Passport Index<\/a> released by London-based consultancy Henley & Partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of this year, India was ranked 77th, with access to 59 destinations without needing a visa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, this drop reflects changing global mobility agreements and tightening border policies among several nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 27 countries where Indian citizens can obtain a visa after landing. Out of these, the most popular destinations in this category include Sri Lanka, Maldives, Jordan, Qatar and the remaining list is given below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
