Samsung has launched the W26 in China as its newest W-series foldable phone, which is based on the Galaxy Z Fold lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone features a similar design and specifications to the book-style Galaxy Z Fold released<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung Launches W26 Foldable Phone in China, Based on Galaxy Z Fold Series<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It includes a 200-megapixel main camera, an 8-inch foldable inner display, and a 6.5-inch cover screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device is powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and houses a 4,400mAh battery, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike the global version, the Samsung W26 offers more memory and includes direct satellite connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Samsung W26 is priced at CNY 16,999 (around \u20b92,11,600) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and CNY 18,999 (around \u20b92,36,500) for the 16GB + 1TB model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is available for purchase in China through Samsung\u2019s website in two color options \u2014 Dan Xihong (red and gold) and Xuan Yao Black (black and gold).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone features an 8-inch inner AMOLED display with a QXGA+ (1,968\u00d72,184 pixels) resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1,080\u00d72,520 pixels) cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung W26 Features Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip with 16GB RAM and Up to 1TB Storage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Samsung W26 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comes with Android 16-based One UI 8 and supports several Galaxy AI features such as Smart Collection, Smart Drag and Drop, and Smart Password Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the inner foldable screen and another 10-megapixel camera on the outer cover display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Samsung W26 supports direct satellite connectivity through China\u2019s Tiantong mobile communications satellite system, enabling emergency calls and messages without network access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone is built with Samsung\u2019s Armor Aluminum frame and includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It packs a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When unfolded, the Samsung W26 measures 158.4\u00d7143.2\u00d74.2mm and weighs 215g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When folded, its dimensions are 158.4\u00d772.8\u00d78.9mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
