Enhanced rail capacity will also <strong>cut oil imports by 28 crore litres<\/strong> and <strong>reduce CO\u2082 emissions by 139 crore kg<\/strong>, equivalent to planting <strong>6 crore trees<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Boosting Connectivity and Tourism<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The upgraded rail lines will improve access to several tourist hotspots like <strong>Sanchi, Satpura Tiger Reserve, Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, Hazara Falls, and Navegaon National Park<\/strong>, further strengthening local economies and promoting regional tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Step Towards PM Gati Shakti Vision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Planned under the <strong>PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan<\/strong>, the projects focus on <strong>multi-modal connectivity<\/strong>, better logistics, and seamless passenger and goods transport.
