He worked in the mechanical engineering lab at <strong>Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT)<\/strong> under Professor Anuj Jain and later at <strong>IIT-BHU<\/strong>, gaining crucial experience in engine technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driven by passion, Gaur <strong>sold his land, shop, and house<\/strong> to fund his research and converted his rented home into a workshop. His efforts culminated in a six-stroke engine that powers a <strong>2017-model 100cc TVS bike<\/strong>, which ran for <strong>35 minutes on just 50 ml of petrol<\/strong>, achieving <strong>176 kmpl<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Efficient, Less Polluting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Gaur, the engine uses <strong>about 70% of the fuel\u2019s energy<\/strong> \u2014 compared to around 30% in conventional engines \u2014 making it <strong>three times more efficient<\/strong>. He demonstrated the technology on a TV show, where the modified bike <strong>covered 120 km with one litre<\/strong> of fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaur claims the engine can be <strong>fitted into any fuel-powered vehicle<\/strong>, significantly <strong>reducing fuel consumption and pollution<\/strong>.
