Additionally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Three medicines used for cancer, rare diseases, and other chronic conditions<\/strong> are included in the exemption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This measure is designed to ease financial burdens on patients and families who depend on high-cost treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stationery and Education Essentials Made Cheaper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In a big relief for students and schools, GST has been scrapped on a wide range of stationery and learning tools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Erasers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncoated paper and paperboard for exercise books<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notebooks, graph books, and laboratory books<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maps, hydrographic charts, and atlases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Globes and topographical plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pencil sharpeners, pencils (including mechanical types)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crayons, pastels, chalks (writing, drawing, tailor\u2019s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drawing charcoals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These cuts will make education-related expenses more affordable for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Companies Pass on Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Brands like <strong>Amul<\/strong> and <strong>Mother Dairy<\/strong> have already slashed prices on hundreds of products, from butter and paneer to ice cream.
