This means Class 9 and Class 10 together form a single course for the Class 10 exam, while Class 11 and Class 12 form a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnaindia.com\/education\/report-students-of-classes-10-and-12-to-mark-75-compulsory-attendance-cbse-mandates-requirements-for-board-exams-eligibility-3180320\">combined<\/a> course for the Class 12 exam. Internal assessments will now span two years, and a student\u2019s regular participation will directly influence final results. The remaining 25% is reserved only for genuine cases such as severe illness, bereavement, or representation in national-level cultural or sports events \u2014 all supported with proper documentation. Moreover, if a school lacks qualified teachers for a subject, students will not be permitted to opt for it.
