On Sundays, services continue to begin at 7 a.m. The last train departs at <strong>11:55 p.m. from R.V. Road<\/strong> and <strong>10:42 p.m. from Bommasandra<\/strong>, unchanged from earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Trains on the Way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A senior BMRCL official confirmed that the <strong>mandatory 750 km of mainline testing<\/strong> was completed before inducting the fourth train. Trial runs were conducted earlier this week. While this addition helps, officials admit that <strong>19 minutes is still a long wait<\/strong>. BMRCL\u2019s goal is to deploy at least <strong>eight trains<\/strong>, cutting wait times to <strong>10 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supply Challenges and Future Plans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The rollout of additional trains faces challenges due to <strong>bogie supply delays from China<\/strong>. However, BMRCL expects a <strong>fifth train set from Titagarh Rail Systems (West Bengal) by mid-September<\/strong>. Bogies for a sixth train are scheduled to ship on <strong>September 14<\/strong> for assembly in Kolkata, keeping the expansion timeline on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Passenger Numbers Exceed Projections<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on <strong>August 11, 2025<\/strong>, the Yellow Line has recorded <strong>60,000\u201380,000 daily riders<\/strong>\u2014far exceeding BMRCL\u2019s initial projection of 25,000\u201330,000 passengers.
