Jio Financial Services Limited has officially announced its foray into the reinsurance space through a joint venture with Allianz Europe B.V. The new company, Allianz Jio Reinsurance Limited (AJRL)<\/strong>, was incorporated on September 8, 2025, following regulatory clearances from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the agreement signed on July 18, 2025, both Jio Financial and Allianz<\/a> hold an equal stake in the venture. Jio Financial has invested \u20b92,50,000 to subscribe for 25,000 equity shares at a face value of \u20b910 each, ensuring a balanced 50:50 ownership between the partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regulatory Compliance and Incorporation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued the Certificate of Incorporation for AJRL on September 8, 2025, at 1:31 p.m. via email. Importantly, the formation does not involve any related party transactions, and no promoter group of Jio Financial has a direct interest in this venture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is now set to proceed with operational groundwork, subject to further approvals, as it aims to capture opportunities in India\u2019s growing insurance ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio Financial Share Price Movement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On September 9, 2025, Jio Financial Services\u2019 stock opened at \u20b9311.10<\/strong> on NSE, touching a day high of \u20b9312.35 and a low of \u20b9309.45. By 12:12 PM, it was trading at \u20b9309.65, reflecting a minor dip of -0.47%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of performance, the stock has declined by 1.29% in the past week and 3.43% in the past month, while showing a modest 1.93% gain over the last three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
