Why This Matters for the Internet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Google processes billions of searches every day. Any major change in how results are presented will ripple through the entire internet ecosystem. Publishers, in particular, are deeply concerned. Studies suggest Google\u2019s AI Overviews have already caused significant drops in web traffic. Google disputes this, but it has provided little transparency or convincing data to back its claims.
