The Royal Enfield is rumored to be working on an all-electric version of the Himalayan ADV and now the images and videos of the near-production prototype being tested in the Himalayas have surfaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Production-Ready Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Adventure Bike Testing Commenced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These new sets of pictures are displaying the electric motorcycle in various parts of Shimla reportedly<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, it’s different as the bikes look more production-ready and the company seems to be testing it extensively on snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Instagram handle Xplorearth shared a new set of images which is based in Shimla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears that they have organized 4×4 adventures and guided motorcycle tours in the Himalayas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering the cause, the Royal Enfield team has collaborated with Xplorearth and they will be doing the Himalayan Electric\u2019s testing and explorations there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interesting part is that the motorcycles are seen without any camouflage in the pictures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What To Expect In Future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can also assume that the Royal Enfield could be filming content- TV commercials, B-rolls, development film etc- with the bikes, in the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These Himalayan EVs are seen parked at a hotel, most likely ready for the day\u2019s expedition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has displayed the details of its design and even the seat upholstery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, one can witness the Ohlins-sourced fully-adjustable USD telescopic front forks can be seen in the pictures and they are finished in a golden colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bike will also come with Nissin callipers. We can also see wire-spoke wheels and knobby tyres on these. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its seats are finished in Black, while the \u2018Royal Enfield\u2019 lettering at the rear is in Yellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a closer look, you can witness that this comes with Black contrast stitching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These images also indicate that the new motorcycle would come with a full-LED lighting setup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A digital screen can also be witnessed which does duty as the rider displays on the prototype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now it remains to be seen if the same unit will be carried to the production-spec as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electric Himalayan will be having Aluminium main frame and sub frame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its battery pack is likely to be a 14 kWh unit with an onboard charger and so far this is the largest battery pack of any two wheeler on sale here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will also come with a protective case made of Aluminium and this battery pack will be mounted as a structural member.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
