Within three days, the collection rose to <strong>\u20b911.63 crore<\/strong> from <strong>4,13,204 pending cases<\/strong> across Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative has been welcomed by vehicle owners, many of whom had accumulated penalties but delayed payments due to the financial burden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope and Eligibility of the Scheme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>50% waiver<\/strong> applies only to traffic violations committed <strong>before February 11, 2023<\/strong>. This means older pending cases can now be cleared at half the cost.
