Communication &#8211; 64<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mechanical &#8211; 101<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Miscellaneous Engineering Streams &#8211; 17<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What About The Selection Process?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For starters there is no written examination for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-in\/news\/India\/indian-army-invites-applications-from-engineering-graduates-check-details\/ar-AA1KRgMN\">SSC Tech Entry<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This selection process will be conducted in three stages out of which first step includes&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortlisting of applications based on academic performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next comes the SSB Interview&nbsp; which is a five-day assessment of leadership and analytical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this comes the medical examination as the candidates must meet prescribed medical and physical standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Physical Standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men: 2.4 km run in 10 min 30 sec, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women: 2.4 km run in 13 min, 15 push-ups, 2 pull-ups, 25 sit-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates must be proficient in swimming, as it is mandatory before joining OTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What About The Salary Structure?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After getting selected, the candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants having a pay scale of Rs 56,100 &#8211; Rs 1,77,500 (Level 10).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After promotions, the salaries increase will reach up to Rs 2,24,400 for senior ranks such as Lt.
