The agreement, effective April 3, 2025, spans 120 months and includes a deposit of Rs 31.57 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Billion-Rupee Commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple is estimated to spend over Rs 1,000 crore on rent, maintenance, and parking charges during the lease period. The rent, fixed initially at Rs 235 per square foot per month, will escalate by 4.5% annually, ensuring a steady increase in Apple\u2019s financial outlay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Export Leadership From India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple has rapidly emerged as the largest mobile phone exporter from India. In the financial year 2024-25 alone, it exported iPhones worth about Rs 1.5 lakh crore, underlining India\u2019s importance in its global supply chain strategy. This new office reinforces Apple\u2019s investment in India\u2019s growing role in its global ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Despite Political Pressures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, this expansion comes despite criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump, who has publicly questioned Apple\u2019s increasing investments in India.
