Services like <strong>proof of delivery<\/strong> and <strong>delivery to a specific addressee<\/strong>, which were key features of Registered Post, will continue to be offered as <strong>value-added options<\/strong> under Speed Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, the <strong>pricing for the merged service is still being finalized<\/strong>. Customers can expect a unified and simplified booking experience, along with more robust tracking features already offered by Speed Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transition Timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Till August 31<\/strong>: Both Registered Post and Speed Post services will operate as usual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From September 1<\/strong>: All new secure mail must be booked as Speed Post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, <strong>Speed Post delivery timelines<\/strong> vary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1 day<\/strong> for local deliveries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Up to 5 days<\/strong> for longer-distance consignments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User Reactions and Postal Enhancements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Consumer rights groups have welcomed the move, citing improved efficiency and faster services.
