The stretch will pass through <strong>Sectors 84\u201391<\/strong>, connecting multiple sector pairs including <strong>84-88, 85-89, 86-90, and 87-91<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>GMDA Chief Engineer Arun Dhankar<\/strong>, the stretch is strategically important as it links <strong>CPR (Central Peripheral Road)<\/strong> at Dwarka Expressway to <strong>Kankrola village<\/strong>, and further to <strong>IMT Manesar<\/strong>, <strong>NH-48<\/strong>, <strong>Sohna Road<\/strong>, and <strong>Southern Peripheral Road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Modern Infrastructure for Safer Travel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involves <strong>upgrading an old six-lane master road<\/strong> constructed by <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/industry\/transportation\/roadways\/construction-of-5-3-km-road-connecting-dwarka-expressway-to-manesar-to-begin-soon\/articleshow\/123021048.cms?from=mdr\">Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran<\/a><sup data-fn=\"0645f56b-facb-46c4-9039-c3a4f6142495\" class=\"fn\"><a id=\"0645f56b-facb-46c4-9039-c3a4f6142495-link\" href=\"#0645f56b-facb-46c4-9039-c3a4f6142495\">1<\/a><\/sup> in 2010\u20132011. Years of wear and poor maintenance have led to rough patches, potholes, and flooding during rains\u2014major pain points for commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key upgrades include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cycle track and pedestrian footpaths<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Surface drainage and greenbelt development<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Streetlights and road safety furniture<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Service roads on both sides<\/strong> to ease congestion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This stretch sees <strong>28,000 PCUs (Passenger Car Units)<\/strong> daily\u2014a number that has risen post the opening of the <strong>Dwarka Expressway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Residents Welcome Move, But Seek Timely Execution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Local residents and daily commuters, especially from <strong>Sector 86<\/strong>, have long demanded better road conditions. \u201cIt\u2019s a much-needed upgrade,\u201d says <strong>Pradeep Kumar<\/strong>, a resident.
