{"id":1298318,"date":"2025-07-30T16:55:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-30T11:25:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1298318"},"modified":"2025-07-30T16:56:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T11:26:11","slug":"tcs-assures-on-boarding-of-600-experienced-techies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/tcs-assures-on-boarding-of-600-experienced-techies\/","title":{"rendered":"TCS Assures On-Boarding Of 600 Experienced Techies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In response to the growing concerns over delays in onboarding more than 600 experienced professionals, finally, India&#8217;s largest IT services firm, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has released some statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this statement, the IT service provider has clarified that \u201ceveryone who has received an offer will be onboarded.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further stating that timelines may shift based on business demand but assured ongoing communication with candidates, as per the media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.angelone.in\/news\/tcs-assures-onboarding-after-nites-flags-delay-for-600-experienced-professionals\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"916\" height=\"838\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-8.29.06\u202fAM.png\" alt=\"TCS Assures On-Boarding Of 600 Experienced Techies\" class=\"wp-image-1298326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-8.29.06\u202fAM.png 916w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-8.29.06\u202fAM-300x274.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-05-14-at-8.29.06\u202fAM-768x703.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 916px) 100vw, 916px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NITES Flags TCS\u2019s Delay In Onboarding to Government<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) which is a registered IT workers&#8217; union, wrote to Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya while urging government intervention, on July 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving ahead, NITES has highlighted the plight of many professionals with 2 to 18 years of experience who resigned from previous jobs based on confirmed offer letters from TCS, only to face indefinite delays in joining, in this letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This has affected saveral candidates from cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi reportedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of these candidates when reported to their joining locations on scheduled dates, they were told that onboarding had been postponed indefinitely, without further updates or revised timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reposting to this, TCS said, &#8220;Everyone who has received an offer from TCS will be onboarded. The joining dates are decided as per business demand and, in some cases, they may be adjusted. We remain in continuous touch with all candidates and look forward to them joining soon,&#8221; while clarifing it&#8217;s stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving ahead, the Indian IT major reiterated its commitment to honouring all offers for both freshers and experienced professionals, as per the media report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NITES Calls For Compensation and Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the letter, NITES has demanded that TCS&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a time-bound commitment for onboarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compensate affected hires for the delay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider alternate internal roles for those impacted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, TCS appears to have implemented a new Bench Policy which interestingly coincides with employee dissatisfaction over TCS\u2019s new bench policy, which allows only 35 days for unallocated employees to find new roles within the company.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The employees who fails in doing so could reportedly result in termination, prompting further concerns from current staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the growing concerns over delays in onboarding more than 600 experienced professionals, finally, India&#8217;s largest IT services firm, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has released some statements.
